A young man is troubled and has only one option to get rid of his mental fog, a blessing form the Mother of the Sea, Iemanjá.

Iemanjá is a deity with many followers in Brazil, she is the Queen of the Seas and people make offers to her in order to get blessings in their lives.

One of the most common gifts you can give her is a White Rose. She is present in Candomblé and Umbanda afro-brazilian religions.

Known in the majority of Latin America and parts of Africa, devotees ask for protection and prosperity. She’s a mother figure and the simplified version of her story says that she was pregnant and when her water broke it spilled in the world creating rivers and oceans.

She is strong and protective of her people, specially women and the feminine.

Iemanjá was present in my life growing up in Brazil and I wanted to offer her a gift, not in the sea, but in a small story form.

I hope she accepts, since I made with a full heart.
